Dr. Paveena Posang was born and raised in Thailand. At a young age of 12, she witnessed a cruelty of cancer that took her aunt’s life. 

From that point on, she was determined to study medicine to help save lives; thereby fulfilling one of the promises she has made to her dying aunt. The opportunity to pursue her dreams presented itself in 1981 when another aunt sponsored her whole family in their move to the USA. When in 1988, Dr. Posang graduated from WVU School of Nursing with Bachelor of Science degree at the age of 21; she was able to keep the promise that she had made years before. Dr. Posang spent a year as a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV, before accepting a position with Cross Country Nursing. While employed for 1 year with this organization she stationed in Sumter, SC during hurricane Hugo and Liberal Kansas. 

After couple of years tending at the bedside as a nurse, she longed to be able to do more for her patients. Her desire and her passion to heal the sick inspired her to pursue a career as a medical doctor. In keeping with this vision in 1995, she graduated from WV School of Medicine and became a Board Certified Family Practitioner when she completed her residency training in 1998 from Charleston, WV. In 2005, Dr. Posang was introduced to Mangosteen fruit juice. She remembered that as a child she used to eat baskets full of this delicious fruit, however she knew little of any properties that it may have that would promote one’s health. As skeptical as she was, she decided to give it a try. Amazed by its dramatic effects on her health and quality of life, she began to further research the multiple uses of this magical fruit by giving the juice to those she knew. What she witnessed was amazing results that Mangosteen, the queen of fruits, had on the health of her family and friends. 

Dr. Posang is currently practicing in a clinic in Cheraw, South Carolina, where many of her patients have grown to love her for her enthusiasm in life, her passion for her profession as a physician, her integrity as a human being, and especially her compassion for her patients. Along with her brother, who is a medical doctor, and her two sisters, who are doctors of pharmacy, she is striving to share this ancient secret with the rest of the world in the hopes of making the world a happier and healthier place.
