“It’s not what people say that you will remember,
it’s how they made you feel”
- Maya Angelou
For more than 14 years, I have been working closely with children, adolescents, and families as an educator and counsellor in the public school systems of British Columbia and Alberta. The past few years, I have also worked as a therapist and group facilitator for social service agencies, and in private practice.
My training includes a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta, a Diploma in Guidance Studies from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from City University, Washington.
I am a qualified EMDR therapist and have helped individuals overcome
trauma. I also have extensive training and counselling experience in Group Therapy, Family Systems, Narrative and Solution Focused Therapy, Marital Therapy, Hospice,
Grief and Bereavement, and Abnormal Psychology. I welcome organizations for consultation and seminars on conflict resolution, creating positive work environments, and increasing productivity in the workplace.
My focus today is on helping people be successful in their personal and business life. As a business strategist and coach, I will help you prepare for your personal and financial future.
I welcome organizations for consultation and seminars.

Do you guarantee results?
Answer. Given the nature of therapy, I cannot guarantee end results. But I do guarantee that I will do everything I can as an educated and experienced therapist to help you. Over the years, I have been able to help 100s of people struggling with a variety of issues. Chances are, I have helped people struggling with the
exact same issues and feelings you may have.
Change can be difficult but infinitely rewarding. I have found that you get just as much out of the experience as you are willing to put into it. It takes a lot of faith and courage to let go of old behaviors and beliefs. But with a little hard work, counselling can help move your confusion into clear goals – and provide you with a concrete, practical action plan to obtain these goals.
Hard work combined with a connection to a skilled and empathetic counsellor has proven to be a
very successful route to overcoming most concerns. Research has consistently shown that successful therapy is dependent on one main thing: The quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is the ability of the therapist to build a trusting, healthy relationship that is the key factor in helping people achieve their desired goals.
Contact me. Our discussion will give us a good idea if we are a good fit for a counselling relationship. If for any reason we are not a good fit, I would be pleased to direct you to others that may be able to help.
How much do sessions cost?
Answer. I charge the standard rate of $150 per hour.
Where is your counselling office?
Answer. I have three locations: One office downtown Vancouver, one at Lincoln Centre by Coquitlam Mall,
and one in Burnaby.
